Join us for a night of Film, Fun and Free popcorn this Wednesday at La Pena Cultural Center in Berkeley.

By now, a lot of people know that not all Biodiesel is created equal.
In order to increase awareness about Sustainable Biodiesel AND raise funds for our new solar powered
recycled fuel station, we are hosting a night of films, slideshows, and live performances.

All proceeds go to help build the most SUSTAINABLE STATION in the NATION,
the Biofuel Oasis new location at Ashby and Sacramento Streets in Berkeley.

* Watch excerpts from locally made films Freedom Fuels, and Revolution Green featuring Willie Nelson.
* Marvel at the recycled fuel cult-classic Fat of the Land. For those of you who haven't seen FotL, it's a 1995 documentary about a group of women who travel around the country transforming fuel from fryer grease. Set back in the day when no one had heard of biodiesel, they are encountered with disbelief and awe. The filmmaker will be in attendance!
* Puppetry by the Big Tadoo troupe
* Live biodiesel making demo
* Limited edition silk screened shirt making
* Ask a mechanic booth
* Presentations about how big biodiesel is negatively impacting Borneo and Argentina
* Sourdough starter give-away
* Singing and Kombucha worship with S.F's HowtoHomestead.org
* Free organic popcorn!

It's going to be fun! Invite your friends, biodiesel using or not.

April 30th 7pm, $10-$20
La Pena Cultural Center
3105 Shattuck Ave., Berkeley

Thanks!

Margaret
